Remotely Uploading to Us
Here at Reflections we do everything we can to make your life easier. Thats why we run our own upload service to allow customers to remotely send their data to us.
To do this we opperate a public anonymous FTP server. FTP (File transfer protocol) is an effective method of file transfer over different kinds of networks.
A FTP client is required to connect to the FTP server, We recommend using Filezilla which is free and can be downloaded here (Available for Windows, OSX and Linux). However you can connect with any FTP client.
More information about ftp can be found here.
Connect to our FTP server with the following details:
- URL: ftp://ftp.reflectionsnorwich.co.uk/incoming/
- User: anonymous@reflectionsnorwich.co.uk
- Password: [nopassword]
- Port: 21
Once connected you should be presented with the /incoming/ directory which will be empty. You can now upload your data.
We recommend adding your files to a single zip file, and naming the file with your full name. Therefore making it easier to identify.
Note. Once you have uploaded your file(s) they will disappear from the FTP directory, this is normal. The incoming directory has a 1GB total limit. Your data will be secure once on our server, however we can not insure the security of your data whilst in transit.
